Grooming Dept started in 2017 in Northern California by a passionate artisan soapmaker named Mohammad. His innovative formulations include duck fat, donkey milk, lamb & beef tallow, as well as vegan bases. These soaps are very hard to get and are almost always sold out.

Veritas is a classic "Italian type" soap base.  It is tallow-based with cupuacu butter and coconut oil. It also has jersey cow's milk from St. Benoit Creamery.

Scent: Veritas - Notes of cocoa, tobacco, leather, cognac, tonka bean, osmanthus and patchouli

Size: 4oz of soap in a plastic tub. The tub is oversized to allow for easy loading of your shaving brush.

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Cow Milk, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Oil, Beef Tallow, Cupuacu Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Pomegranate Oil, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Beta Sitosterol, Silk Amino Acids, Sunflower Lecithin, Sodium Lactate and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).
